Un modelo IDENTICO al helsa Alarma de los 60 que es bastante anterior

despues Sorna evoluciono el modelo
que paso a denominarse SWISSINA

Y como no, el único modelo de la casa en LCD
inspirado directamente en los modelos de Seiko

la version extraplana…

La casa Sorna, tuvo su época clásica hasta 1952, quizás fue cuando compraron la patente los hermanos SCHENKER, aunque todo apunta a que Rosa, solo desempeñó cargos societarios y yo particularmente creo que la adquisición fue de la patente y posterior, como otra de las tantas patentes suizas que aparecen en los 60/70. hay constancia gráfica de que con anterioridad ya funcionaba, sería uno de los numerosos pequeños talleres que pululaban por el Jura. 

La corona mural con la que se timbró la marca es un añadido posterior. Algunos ejemplos sin corona y un ejemplar, seguro, anterior a 1952.

 

 

En 1952  la familia de Emil Schenker Delémont (Tambien Sibel)

pasa a ser propietaria de Sorna Mira Ag, junto con Rosa Marc y ursula Schenker,

Sorna Watch AG, que se trasladó en los 70 a Grenchen con un capital social de 100.000 francos suizos

Tradicionalmente siempre se asocia a Sorna con Ernest Schneider (Sicura/Breitling) 

porque Sorna,  entró en la orbita de sicura a finales de los 70

compartiendo diseños partes y movimientos

con lo que el amo de breitling era el que manejaba los hilos por esas fechas.

la compañia fue finalmente liquidada el 17/01/1996.

Cuando se liquidó la compañia en el 96 paso a manos del grupo german asian Trias,

al igual que pasó con  wakmann y otras marcas extintas de prestigio setentero

Trias paso a manufacturar entonces relojes «revival»  con patente alemana y movimientos Asiaticos

la marca sorna ha sido reeditada actualmente por la marca TRIAS en alemania

y se fabrican replicas legales de los clasicos diseños de sorna en los 70, eso si con movimientos asiaticos..

The early Sornas in the 70s  were mainly Alarm Models,

the first was this movement featured in the gallery with a rudimentary

movement  REFERENCE # 1290

Quite Simple its  A model identical to the Helsa alarm from the 60´s  that is much earlier

Sorna  years after evolved the model to a new line
happened to be called SWISSINA

And of course, in the late 70s with the arrival of the first LCD panels
marketed a Model directly inspired by the models of Seiko
ib Normal size and Slimline version …

Since everybody knows sorna from the seventies

The house Of sorna had its classical period until 1952,

maybe it was when the brothers SCHENKER  bought the patent , but everything points to Rose, only served corporate office and I particularly think the acquisition was just the patent , as happened with many  other Swiss brands

there were are so many patents in the late  60/70´s..its impossible to know for sure

there is evidence that prior work and would be one of the many small factories who swarmed through the Jura.

The crown with which rang the brand is a later addition.

these are Examples without a crown and a copy, sure, prior to 1952.

in 1952 the family of Emil Schenker Delémont (owner of the Sibel brand  also) becomes the owner of  Sorna mira AG, along with Rosa,  Ursula AND  Marc Schenker,

AG Watch Sorna, moved in the 70´s to Grenchen with a capital of 100,000 Swiss francs

Traditionally Sorna is commonly  associated with Ernest Schneider (Sicura / Breitling) as  Sorna entered the orbit of sicura at the late 70s aerly 80´s where both  companies shared parts and movements

sharing designs with the master of breitling who  was the one who pulled the strings at that time.

the company was finally settled on 17/01/1996.

when the company was liquidated in 96 passed into the hands of the German- asian Group Trias

like wakmann, and many other brand industries extinct and other marks of prestige  from the seventies

Trias happened to manufacture watches «revival» with German Patent  and Asian movements

and seems they continue to do so

Today Sorna has been reissued by the brand TRIAS currently in Germany and they

manufacture legal replicas of classic designs but with  Asian movements.
