LA ETUI

En esta galeria se pueden observar la «ETUI» o bolsa caraterística en la que venian presentados los Spaceman,

hecha de un bonito charol en rojo brillante tipo carmín,

con el logotipo spaceman impreso en dorado y con cremallera.

Es flexible gracias a unos insertos interiores en plástico y blanca por dentro,  con un compartimento transparente

para guardar una correa de repuesto ya que estas eran intercambiables.

Son casi imposibles de conseguir hoy en dia,

si sois capaces de encontrar una en buen estado,

sabed que vale por si sola unos 180 francos suizos aproximadamente 150€

yo tengo «solo» 7…

THE ROCKET

O el cohete,como muchos sabeis las marcas proporcionan a las joyerias y relojerias stands o displays exclusivos para presentar sus modelos, estos con el tiempo se convierten en objeto de coleccionismo en si mismos por su rareza y exclusividad.

En el caso de los spaceman no podia ser menos y los primeros spaceman ovales venian presentados en un curioso Cohete en plastico

transparente,  con tapa a rosca plateada que dejaba entreveer el reloj en su interior.

Muy apesar de estar ajado por el tiempo y con un evidente roto,

Hace algunos años, este display se mantuvo en subasta en ebay durante muchos meses en la disparatada cifra de 1275€,

cuando en una de esas el vendedor aburrido de que no se vendiese cometió el error de re-publicar el anuncio en subasta desde 1 euro sin poner precio de reserva a la subasta,

y un espabilao que se dio cuenta gano la puja en unos irrisorios 50€ …..yo llegue tarde..

desconozco si el vendedor cumplió enviandolo a su afortunado nuevo propietario o no.

EL BOOKLET ORIGINAL

O cartilla de garantia

si la bolsa de presentacion, La «Tag» (Etiqueta), o el display original de las tiendas son raros,

mas raro todavia es toparse con el folleto de garantia que acompañaba a estos relojes.

Yo solo he visto un  par de ellos y encima en español!!!

Pero no pude obtenerlos en su momento puesto que en ambas ocasiones acompañaban a un reloj que se vendia

y no admitian el envio internacional…

el precio…para mi incalculable,

Si alguien tiene una por ahi Por favor que se ponga en contacto conmigo

al menos aqui quedan las fotos.

LOS DIVERSOS MOVIMIENTOS

Como ya hemos visto, en la galeria hay fotos de los diversos movimientos que montaban los spaceman de 17 y 25 rubies

LOS MANUALES

Los Primeros Spaceman Manuales montaban Movimientos de la familia  FHF Fontainemelon ST 96-4 de finales de los 60, movimientos usados por Technos y Fortis Mayormente.

Se trata de un movimiento bastante raro hoy dia.

Esto hace que al contrario que en la mayoria de relojes Vintage cuyas Versiones Automaticas son mucho mas demandadas, los Spaceman Manuales alcancen mayor cotización en el mercado para los verdaderos coleccionistas,que sus variantes Automáticas.

LOS AUTOMATICOS

Las versiones Automáticas de los Spaceman con doble datario (Generalmente los Manufacturados por Tressa Lux y Zeno) Montaban los mas comúnes Movimientos de  Adolf Schild

Al menos que yo sepa, la marca chalet nunca distribuyo spaceman alguno.

Le ETUI

In this gallery you can see the characteristics of the Spaceman pouch, also named in French «ETUI» or bag in which the spaceman came presented,

made from a nice bright red patent leather red carmine, with the spaceman logo printed in gold and with a zipper.

It comes with flexible plastic inserts and white interior inside, with a transparent compartment

to keep a spare belt, since they were interchangeable.

It’s almost impossible to achieve today,

if you are able to find one in good condition

know that alone may reach high pricing and  is worth about 180 € 150 Swiss francs

I have «only» 7 … 😉

THE ROCKET

As many of you know the brands Usually provide the jewelery Stores, exclusive stands or displays to present their watch models, they eventually become collector’s items in themselves because of their rarity and exclusivity.

In the case of spaceman could not be less and the first Oval spaceman came presented in a curious plastic rocket

Translucent with silver screw cap that foreshadowed the Watch inside.

Despite of being worn by time and with a side apparently broken, a few years ago, the display remained on auction on ebay for many months in the crazy amount of about  1275 €,

Once the seller was bored waiting for a potential buyer, he did the mistake of re-publishing the auction from 1 euro without putting a reserve price, and someone very sharp won the bid in a derisory 50€ ….. I was  late ..

Do not know if the seller complied by sending it to his lucky new owner or not.

THE ORIGINAL BOOKLET

Or the Original warranty,

if the stock original Tag, the  etui or the Store display are rare,

rarer still is run into the warranty booklet that came with these watches.

I have only seen a couple of them Around in Spanish!

But I could not get them since in both cases were accompanied by a Watch that was For Sale,

or did not support the international shipping …

the price … for me incalculable…

THE VARIOUS MOVEMENTS

As we have seen, in the gallery are pictures Available of the various movements that Sported the spaceman Series,

Standart Either of 17 or 25 jewells

There was a ‘Standard’ brand of movement produced in Switzerland for export back in the 1970s. It came from the ESA cartel, and was applied to fully-jewelled, mid-grade movements mostly from FHF, but also a few from AS.

MANUALS

The First Spaceman Handwind Models Sported Movements of the family FHF Fontainemelon ST 96-4 from late 60’s,

movements used usually  by Fortis and Mostly Technos.

It is very rare movement today.

This means that unlike most vintage watches, where automatic versions are much in demand, the Spaceman Handwind achieve greater market value for True collectors, than its automated counterparts.

THE AUTOMATICS

The automatic version of the double Date Spaceman (generally those manufactured by Tressa Lux and Zeno) assembled the more common movements from Adolf Schild

The First Spaceman Automatics  Series with simple Date , manufactured by CATENA, as well as the Audacieuse Automatics,

carried a higher version of 25 Jewels
